A car crashed into the front of a South Florida building late Tuesday morning after the driver accidently hit the gas instead of the brake, according to police.According to the Hallandale Beach Police Department, officers responded to the 2500 block of East Hallandale Beach Boulevard around 11:15 a.m. to investigate reports that a vehicle crashed into the building.Police said that the preliminary investigation showed the driver accidently pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to slam into the front of the building.Witnesses say the driver appeared to be moving slowly moments before the crash.One woman who saw it happen said, "We saw her going inside the property, but she was really slow. It was an accident." The driver, as well as everyone inside the building, were not injured.Another witness, who helped rescue the driver, described the scene as chaotic, saying, "It was hard to get through all the glass to get her out."
