After a very wet start to the week, it’s ending on a very warm and pleasant note, just in time for the weekend. Keep your outdoor plans and enjoy the sunshine but be prepared for very warm highs in the middle to upper 80s.There are a couple of very weak cold fronts on the way, which could bring us a few scattered showers this evening and again around midday Sunday, but nothing too widespread or heavy is expected.Good beach and boating weather is on tap for the weekend, with no advisories and only very light winds. Most of next week looks pretty quiet, but a stronger cold front is expected to enter the picture toward the end of the week. That could increase our rain and storm chances and bring us the coolest air of the season so far by next weekend. In case you’re wondering, it’ll be clear and cold for the big game in South Bend on Saturday night, with temperatures in the middle 30s. Go Canes!
